Hodgson Custom Rolling Inc., one of North America's largest plate rolling, brake press forming and structural rolling facilities servicing various industries internationally, requires the following key personnel.
SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR
Responsibilities and qualifications include: Minimum 5 years' Shipping, Receiving and Customs experience in a heavy steel manufacturing/industrial environment; Auditing incoming and outgoing materials; Coordinating Carriers for incoming production materials; Issuing NAFTA certifications; Coordinating U. S. and Canadian shipments to optimize loads; Completing import and export documentation and entering data in appropriate software: Conforming to all Customs Regulations and requirements; Adhering to CTPAT Regulations, policies & procedures; Excellent customer service, decision-making, organization and communication skills; Proficient computer skills; Experience with JobBoss an asset.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities and qualifications include: Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity preferably in a manufacturing environment; Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations; Full responsibility for all shift activities including safety, quality and productivity; Coordinating allocated manpower to maximize shift output; Administration of Collective Agreement; Duties include production planning, multi-tasking and troubleshooting problems; Knowledge of plate rolling, brake press forming and structural rolling an asset; Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system; Proficient computer skills; Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
FITTER
Responsibilities and qualifications include: Minimum 5 years' Fitter experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment; Fitter -first class ticket or equivalent experience; Blue print reading course; Layout & development courses; Interpretation of drawings, specifications and bills of material; Use of shop formulae to locate lines, centers, angles, bends, and radii; Application of patterns and templates; Use of jigs and fixtures; Operation of angle rolls, brake press, plate roll and shear an asset. Fitting circular seams, spiral staircases, cones/knuckles/transitions, fit large multi sections for weld. Capable of alignment, leveling and fitting plate work fabrications; Crane and lift truck experience. Use of oxy fuel gas equipment; Burner experience; CWB welding (SMAW, FCAW) experience.
