Haldimand - Norfolk REACH supporting children, families, communities Clinical Services Unit Community Coordinator -“Name It 2 Change It“ Project Part-time (0.6 f. t. e.), Temporary (24 months), Salaried Responsibilities: - Facilitate community coordination of the “Name It 2 Change It“ Project focused on developing a child and youth engagement strategy related to bullying prevention initiatives in the Haldimand & Norfolk community. - Consulting with children, youth and educational partners, the Name It 2 Change It Committee, and other appropriate community agencies, related to planning and implementation of bullying prevention initiatives. - Acting as a community leader and resource in the area of bullying prevention education and initiatives. - Providing leadership in marketing and promotional activities designed to increase community awareness. Ongoing development of Name It 2 Change It website. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in social work or a related social science. - at least three years' experience working with children and youth in a community context. - experience with collaborative community partnerships. - experience with community development projects. - experience with marketing and promotion. - excellent communication skills -verbal and written. - excellent computer literacy -(Microsoft Office Programs, website maintenance). - valid driver's licence and use of a vehicle.
